1. Who we are
Best Spreadsheet Finds ("we", "us") operates bestspreadsheetfinds.com — an agent-neutral catalogue of curated third-party listings. For any privacy question or data request, contact privacy@bestspreadsheetfinds.com.
2. What we collect
Automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, items clicked, and referring site, plus cookie/identifier data (see Section 3).
Information you give us: none is required to browse — this site has no account or newsletter sign-up. Creating an account and any purchase happen on the third-party shopping agent you choose, under their privacy policy.
We do NOT collect: payment card details — we run no checkout; you pay your chosen agent directly.
3. Cookies & similar technologies
Strictly necessary (always on): your session/security cookie, your cookie-consent choice, and preferences you set (theme, language, currency, wishlist) stored in your browser.
Analytics & marketing (only with your consent): if you click Accept on our cookie banner we may load Google Analytics 4 (analytics) and the Meta Pixel (advertising/measurement). Click Reject and these never load. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
4. Why we use it (legal basis under GDPR)
To run and secure the site and understand basic usage (legitimate interest); to run analytics and marketing pixels (your consent); and to comply with the law (legal obligation).
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share only with services that run the site: our hosting provider and CDN/security provider, and — only if you consent — Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel). When you click an outbound product or sign-up link, the destination agent/affiliate network receives the referral.
6. Third-party & affiliate links
Our catalogue contains affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those third-party sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.
7. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept roughly 30–90 days; analytics data follows each provider's retention (Google Analytics up to ~14 months); your consent choice stays until you clear it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you can request access, correction, or deletion of your data, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell data). Email privacy@bestspreadsheetfinds.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
9. Data security
We serve the site over HTTPS and use reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (including the US). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
